Think PInk

Just love this.
Fresh, clean and spring.

Not my pic…wish it were.
Don’t know who took it so I could link you to them....
a random catch on pinterest.

I will link you to my color board though!

I’ve loved Zentangles.
Correction, I’ve loved other peoples zentangles.

I’ve tried to create them but
could not figure them out on my own.
And certainly there was no zen to be found in the experience.

I started using a One A Day Zentangle
and the author (Beckah Krahula
breaks down the random drawings for me.
Above are my first zentangles
and I must admit,
I did feel a bit more zen during and after.

Sachet Conundrum

I’ve been immersing myself in embroidery
and have a sachet conundrum.
How to create an embroidered sachet
that is reusable with minimal effort?
After all that work embroidering
you don’t want to toss it out
when the aroma fades.
Well, I don’t anyway!
I have some ideas for this to share with you,
hopefully in time for spring cleaning.

But in the meantime ….
I just love this style of sachet
if you have scraps of material.
Found these on pinterest (of course) .
It originates in this lovely Norwegian blog.
Don’t understand a word...
 but love the pictures.:-)
