Channa Masala

Channa Masala is one of my favorite Indian dishes,
in restaurants. 
I’ve never found a recipe I’ve like until now. 
Since going vegan (okay, practically vegan)
I’ve been searching sites for good recipes
and I’ve been making adjustments to use vegetable stock
instead of olive oil, for sautéing. 
Lindsay Nixon, the Happy Herbivore,
already cooks that way and have found many good recipes on her site. 
This Channa Masala is just one of them.
