Asclepias, "Bright Wings" Seedlings
You can find these butterfly magnets
(also known as butterfly weed)

The egg carton is method of starting seeds is going extremely well. Everything is germinating, I get to feel good about recycling and the mass germination (throwing 10++ seeds in one section) is definitely turning out to be a space and soil saver.

If you try this at home the only thing to be careful of (thus far) is to be sure to water the seedlings well before transplanting. While the paper in the egg carton is perfect for keeping the soil from being too soggy, as it absorbs the extra moisture it also means the tender roots adhere to the container as it dries out. I hate having to tug on those tender roots!

The other thing I found helps is transplanting them soon after germinating because there isn't enough soil in each cell to stay moist for long.

Good tip Mr Brown Thumb!
For some reason I have had a fear of transplanting before they get to this stage. I should try it earlier.
